My partner and I relied on a pre-packaged solution to get this concept off the ground. It had a few shortcomings that I worked to repair.
The minimalist presentation of the post thumbnails was great until the title boxes didn’t line up. The frames beneath each thumbnail photo took their size based on content. This created regular incongruities. With some light JavaScript, the elements that frame the title and meta data are the same height on each line.
This is not a project we have had time to get off the ground, but we hope to revisit it soon.
